Tips to Maximize Leanring

-
If you are in our CD-Based Recordkeeping Program, download and install all content and software updates as they become available at the publisher's website. Online users need not perform this step, as it is done automatically.
-
Print the vocabulary list at the beginning of each unit. The complete vocabulary list can be found in the Reference link found at the bottom of every unit. This list can be used for reference and reinforcement as your student moves through the unit. Vocabulary mastery is key to success in the unit.
-
Customized subjects can be matched to the learning strengths and style of your student. Lessons and projects should be assigned at a pace appropriate for your student. Do not hesitate to speak with your Odyssey teacher or academic advisor about the needs of your student.

-
Take advantage of the additional activities in the Teacher's Guide! You'll find more fascinating experiments in science, engaging reading activities in language arts, or fun ways to learn math!
-
Each LIFEPAC unit is separately bound to give you flexibility. Buy a complete set, mix and match with other levels or subjects, or purchase just what you need to supplement your current program!
-
LIFEPAC isn't just a set of materials. It's a whole learning system designed to make your student an independent, not an isolated learner. Want to learn more? Check out LIFEPAC Management in the Teacher's Guide.

- Save grading time with the answers in the Teacher's Handbook.
- Make and decorate flashcards or other manipulatives with your student.
- Each of your students can have a set that is uniquely their own.
- Tear all pages from the student book so the sheets lay flat when the students are working the problems. This will promote better penmanship.
- Start the school day with prayer! It sets the tone and reminds everyone of their first goal.
- Start light! For the first few weeks, teach the basics only: Bible, Social Studies, Science, and Math. Take the time to adapt to the new format, then add Wisdom Words, language, art, and health as the weeks go by.
- Prepare a full chapter! The curriculum will flow if there aren't any surprises. When a chapter is prepared all at once, supplies can be obtained together, field trips scheduled, and outside appointments worked into the time frame.
